Southeast Asia is the top market: +63.3% of dairy products converted into Milk Equivalent (ME).

Data relating to the month of March 2019 show an export of over 90 thousand tonnes of SMP, + 31.5% compared to the previous year.

Indonesia jumps to the first place among the target markets of the European SMP, tripling its purchases (11,500 tons, + 226%). Export to China (+ 91.4%), Egypt, Mexico and the Philippines grew significantly as well.
The average EU export price of the SMP is 2.19 USD / kg, up from the beginning of the year as in the other exporting players (United States, Australia, New Zealand).
