Australia imports of cheese in September 2015 compared to September 2014 increased in volumes by +26.6%.
The main supplying countries of Cheese in the first 9 months of 2015 (year over year) were:
- New Zealand export, accounting for 58% of market share, increased by 16.4%
- United States export, accounting for 18% of market share, decreased by 21.3%
- Italy export, accounting for 6% of market share, increased by 32.2%

The main purchasing countries of Cheese in the first 9 months of 2015 (year over year) were:
- Japan import, accounting for 56% of market share, increased by 24.1%

- Malaysia import, accounting for 5% of market share, decreased by 7.3%
- Korea, South import, accounting for 4% of market share, increased by 34.7%
- United States import, accounting for 4% of market share, increased by 238.7%
