Australia exports in July 2015 compared to July 2014 increased in volumes for Infant milk formula (+659.2%), SMP (+31.3%), Bulk and pack. milk (+21.4%), Cheese (+6.0%) while decreased for WMP (-10.9%), Butter (-22.7%), Whey Powder (-22.9%).
The main purchasing countries of SMP in the first 7 months of 2015 (year over year) were:
- Indonesia import, accounting for 20% of market share, increased by 35.8%
- China import, accounting for 11% of market share, increased by 21.1%
- Malaysia import, accounting for 9% of market share, increased by 58%
The main supplying countries of Cheese in the first 7 months of 2015 (y-o-y) were:
- New Zealand export, accounting for 58% of market share, increased by 11.2%
- United States export, accounting for 19% of market share, decreased by 8.5%
- Italy export, accounting for 5% of market share, increased by 23.5%
