EU-28 exports in September 2015 compared to September 2014 increased in volumes for Condensed Milk (+37.5%), WMP (+29.9%), Cheese (+25.6%), Butter (+25.4%), SMP (+15.7%), Whey Powder (+0.5%) while decreased for Infant milk formula (-1.3%).
The main Importers of Cheese in the first 9 months of 2015 (year over year) were:
- United States import, accounting for 19% of market share, increased by 21.1%
- Japan import, accounting for 10% of market share, increased by 44.2%
- Switzerland import, accounting for 8% of market share, increased by 2%
The main Importers of Butter in the first 9 months of 2015 (y-o-y) were:
- China import, accounting for 19% of market share, increased by 689.2%
- Saudi Arabia import, accounting for 10% of market share, increased by 52.9%
- United States import, accounting for 9% of market share, increased by 101.2%
The main Importers of SMP in the first 9 months of 2015 (y-o-y) were:
- Algeria import, accounting for 17% of market share, decreased by 17.9%
- Egypt import, accounting for 9% of market share, increased by 34.8%
- China import, accounting for 7% of market share, decreased by 25.8%
