New Zealand exports in June 2016 compared to June 2015 increased in volumes for:

• Whey Powder (+180.4%)
• Infant milk formula (+133.7%)
• SMP (+69.4%)
• Cheese (+35.2%)
• Butter (+25.2%)
• WMP (+15.6%)
• Casein (+3.9%)

The main Importers of WMP in the first 6 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

• China import, accounting for 26% of market share, increased by 24.6%
• Algeria import, accounting for 9% of market share, increased by 0.6%
• United Arab Emirates import, accounting for 8% of market share, decreased by 19.4%
• Sri Lanka import, accounting for 5% of market share, increased by 31.9%
• Thailand import, accounting for 4% of market share, increased by 10.8%

The main Importers of Butter in the first 6 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

• China import, accounting for 12% of market share, increased by 20.8%
• Egypt import, accounting for 10% of market share, decreased by 4.3%
• Mexico import, accounting for 8% of market share, increased by 108.4%
• Iran import, accounting for 8% of market share, increased by 201.6%
• Saudi Arabia import, accounting for 6% of market share, increased by 39.9%

The main Importers of Cheese in the first 6 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

• Japan import, accounting for 18% of market share, increased by 24.1%
• Australia import, accounting for 17% of market share, increased by 16.3%
• China import, accounting for 12% of market share, increased by 24%
• United States import, accounting for 6% of market share, increased by 65.1%
• Korea, South import, accounting for 5% of market share, increased by 26.6%

The main Importers of SMP in the first 6 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

• China import, accounting for 23% of market share, increased by 0.7%
• Philippines import, accounting for 10% of market share, increased by 27.2%
• Malaysia import, accounting for 8% of market share, increased by 4.6%
• Indonesia import, accounting for 7% of market share, increased by 19.8%
• Thailand import, accounting for 6% of market share, increased by 2.6%
